Tough conversations help people improve

"A person's success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have." - Tim Ferriss

How do you coach a team without tough conversations?

The foundation of sales leadership is coaching.

And coaching is about communicating feedback to help someone improve.

Tough to do that without some tough conversations here and there.

Far too often I've seen people in leadership roles avoid these conversations.

Hoping whatever needs to be addressed will solve itself.

It doesn't, and every moment that passes without saying what you know needs to be said...

You hurt the person that needs to hear it.

The team who probably sees it not being addressed.

And yourself, knowing you aren't doing what you need to.

You don't have to be a coach that screams and yells.

But you can't be a coach without telling your players the truth.

Tough conversations = Easy life.
